Air filtration unit for ellegoo Mars 5

This is a small filtration system for the Elegoo mars 5 series of printers. In my experience it does a good enough job of filtering fumes that I'm comfortable using it without any kind of enclosure (as can be seen in the photos).

The entire assembly is held together by 4 40mm M4 screws.

I recommend cutting of as much plastic as possible on the exaust side of the filter in order to improve airflow while still retaing the filter material. The bottom mounting plate has modeled threads, but I still recommend you use a thread-tap to ensure the screws go in easily. When screwing the filtration system onto the printers ventilation port, do so carefully  as i discovered uneven and/or exesive pressure on the acrylic can cause it to form tiny cracks around the screwholes.

The electrical enclosure has a 13x8.5mm mounting hole for a power switch and is made to fit a 5.5mm barrel socket of this type:

Make sure to use a power adapter that outputs the correct voltage for your fan and to check that the filter youre using is appropriate for resin.
