So you wanted a place to put your 5in screen up higher or your Voron 2.4. Now you can if you have my Voron 2.4 Canopy. Will need a BTT HDMI5 V1.2 with the cables coming out the back. You will also have to remove the speaker on the back by gently pulling the cover off the pcb and cutting the 2 wires, see photos. I have 2 versions for, one that keeps with my original version of the Voron 2.4 Canopy and one if you used the Remix by 3DPrintDemon. you will need to use 2 of the screws that came with the screen m3x6mm for the top and 2x m3x16mm for the bottom screws, will also need the screws to mount the canopy to frame, 4x m3x8mm. The frame will need to be super glued to the canopy, best to use the bottom screws to line up the two parts when gluing. you will need to first mount the canopy/frame to your Voron top and then install the 3 buttons and screen into it. Good tip to make this easy use a very small dab of glue stick on the long side of button to stay up in frame while installing the screen, a small dab, just barely enough to keep in place. Be careful not to pinch the flex cable/pcb on the top side of screen. After installing you can wipe black silicone in between the screen and frame to fill in the very small gap to keep the backlight from shing through, make sure you wipe off the excess before it dries, kind of like grouting tiles. The cables that come with the screen will work, but you will need an extension or just buy longer cables. I hope you all like this and enjoy it as much as I am. Included in the files is a mount to help with wire management, can be used in the corner or sides.
If you want to help me out with buying some more filament to replace all that was used to create this.
Thanks so much.
The author remixed this model.
This is a modification of my very own canopy design, also I have included one that will work with the Split Remix of my own canopy.
