Stairville BEL1 IP Lens Mod

This is a adapter, that can be used to focus and improve the lightoutput of a Stairville BEL 1 IP outdoor stagelight.

The Adapter is using the existing mouning holes and screws of the Infrared and antenna PCB. There are no modifications to the housing needed. 

The Adapter doesn't impact the IP rating of the Fixture.

Compatible Lenses:

• Lens diameter: 45mm
• Lens thickness: 26mm
• I used leses, that are sold as spare parts for Ape Labs lightcans:

Ape Labs LED Optik - PL1590UN 10°

Ape Labs LED Optik - PL1590NA 15°

Ape Labs LED Optik - PL1590ME 25°

Ape Labs LED Optik - PL1590WI 45°

Installation:

• Unthread the Fixtures Lens. Careful, the Lens is not glued in, and could fall out!

• Remove the four Screws, that are holding the PCB in Place

• lockate the two alingnment holes in the PCB (next to the LED), that correspond to the pins on the underside of the new lens.

• Press the Lens into the printed Adapter, with attention to the Alingnmet holes of the LED, the ir-sennsor hole and the Mounting holes in the Adapter. If this is not done correctly, the lens won't fit properly! 

• Place the Adapter with the Lens in the Fixture, and secure it with the four Screws.
• Screw the Lens back on.

• Printed on Prusa MK4, with default 0.2mm Speed Profile
• No Supports needed
• Use a heatresistant Filament! PLA and PETG will soften!
