This is a Toolless Tensioner System for the LYNX (2.1) and HIJINX. The key parts should be compatible with other LYNX variants/derivatives (ex. Minx, Lonx) but this is not guaranteed.
The design is remixed from Orion Blasters' Lynx 2.1 and Deathtree's PKI Lynx Remix parts.
Note: Imperial (a.k.a. ¼-20 hardware) file versions have been added but are untested. Also, please note that there can be small dimensional differences depending on the specific source/part#s that you use; if you need files to support something different, feel free to ask. This has only been tested with my personal HIJINX build; please don't be shy about giving feedback if you try making this!
Required Hardware (Outside of Standard Lynx 2.1 Hardware):
- 1x M6x30 SHCS OR ¼-20 x 1-¼" SHCS
- 1x M6 Nylon Locknut OR ¼-20 Nylon Locknut
- 1x M6 Hex Nut OR ¼-20 Hex Nut
- 5x small screws - e.g. #6 x ¼" self-tapping - similar to the standard screws used to mount the Lynx buttplate; be careful with screw lengths as a few holes are not as deep due to clearance for other parts
Included Parts:
- Block Thing [For HIJINX and Toolless Tensioner System] - This is my variant of the 2.1 Lynx Block Thing; it also includes some additional guidance/support for the rear of the dart before it is chambered.
- Tensioner Wheel - This part has a pocket to take the Nylon Locknut and then the socket head cap screw is inserted and torqued until tight; once assembled, this forms a large thumbscrew.
- Lynx Buttplate for Toolless Tensioner System [Comfort Version] - This is extended and modified to fit a tensioner wheel and is taller and widens to provide more surface area for bracing while priming; it has 3 separate parts: A & B are the main parts and C is an optional filler piece for aesthetics; requires 3 small screws to connect A & B.
- Ram [Minor Tweaks] - This is my variant of the 2.1 Lynx Ram; it has a tighter fit for the “pusher” bolt and has a small fill between the 2 mounting screw bores which may or may not be gentler for the next dart as it travels back and forth.
- PKI Stock [Comfort Version for PKI Magwell] - This has been made taller to match the buttplate file; it also includes my “HACKED” text marking; it is specifically shaped to fit against the profile of the PKI Magwell (or my HIJINX remix of it)
- PKI Spacer [Angled Stripey Linear Fade] - This is just the PKI Spacer but split into multiple bodies/parts for assigning different filament colours during slicing; it is intended to be printed at a 45 degree angle (such that the colour changes only happen at a layer change) for reducing waste and for optionally printing without an AMS or MMU system, but it will need significant supports to print successfully at this angle.
Updates:
- 2024-11-14 - Added Imperial (a.k.a. ¼-20 hardware) file versions for Tensioner Wheel and Block Thingy parts; updated description to match.

PKI Lynx Remix Parts Used:
- PKI Stock: made taller to match “Comfort” buttplate; minor dimensional changes for takedown pin fit; addition of “HACKED” text
