Gripper mechanism and gear assembly :

At the bottom of the drilled base, we have positioned three openings. The top opening is cylindrical and allows the passage of a long arm connected to the gripper. This arm is linked to a trigger mechanism and housing, which contains a cable that ends in a rack. The rack engages with gears, enabling rotational movement and allowing the two gripper arms to open and close outside the base.

Additionally, there are two other openings designed to hold gears that are assembled with the arms and the rack. These openings are precisely positioned to ensure that the mechanism rotates smoothly without jamming, enabling free and continuous movement.

Also We added the holes specifically to accommodate the screws.

Role of the two helical springs in stabilizing the gripper :

Two helical springs were added at the pierced base and colled to the rack to provide resistance against forces that act on the cable linked to the trigger and gears. These two springs serve to counterbalance and control the movement, ensuring that any force applied to the cable and gear assembly meets a stabilizing resistance. This design helps prevent unwanted or excessive motion, enhancing the precision and responsiveness of the gripper mechanism.

Rack and pinion mechanism for gripper movement :

In this configuration, the rack is a toothed bar aligned with the long arm of the gripper, which is connected to a cable operated by a trigger or another control element. When the trigger is pressed, it pulls on the cable, which moves the rack in a linear motion. This rack engages with a pinion (a small circular gear), which converts the linear motion into rotational movement.

The pinion, when rotating, transmits this motion to the other gears connected to the gripper arms. This transfer of rotation allows the gripper arms to either open or close, depending on the direction of the rack's movement. the two helical springs are often integrated into the mechanism to provide resistance, returning the gripper arms to their initial position when the trigger is released also they help the rack to do it s principal movement .
