This charging stand aims to do what others seemingly can't - allow you to pick up your device without taking the whole charging stand with it. With its elegant look and simple snap-in-place mechanism, this stand is convenient and functional.
This design is loosely based on LuluX's Apple Watch stand. I decided to design it after being frustrated that the MagSafe charger would stay stuck to my phone too well. It needed something to hold it down when removing the phone from the charger. This charging stand fits the MagSafe charger well and holds it in place so you can simply set your phone down on the stand and pick it back up with everything staying perfectly in place.
Screw holes are included so the stand can be fastened to the corner of a table or desk. I used some screws I just had laying around, but you could use any No. 3 tapping screw with a head diameter 3/16" or less. I also had success mounting it with command strips during prototyping.
