Not just AN ultimate support test, THE ultimate support test.

This was an idea that I've been stewing on for a while, although I didn't know how to design it until I saw Uncle Jessy's test.

I set out to make it (relatively) quick print, testing as much as possible without making it take too long for quicker repeatability. I also took inspiration from my Organic/Tree Support Test to test circular overhangs.

It is scalable if it seems too small.

What is tested:

  • Supported angles (80°, 70°, and 45) that begin from a line
  • Supported pieces that begin from a tiny point
  • Balls printed over nothing
  • Pieces printed over nothing connecting to a bigger overhang
  • Circular printed overhangs
  • Straight printed overhangs
  • Tests regular support on bottom surfaces (on angles, and flat and curved surfaces)

Things to know:

  • The numbers on the curved surfaces are the radii of the surfaces
  • The curved surfaces on the walls' radii are provided for all the curved surfaces except one. This is because there was no room to add one. The radius of this wall is 10mm.

Feel free to contact me in the comments if you have any questions or suggestions.

If you print this, please post a make, leave a like, and comment. I would love to see someone else print this, and, get some feedback maybe.

Good luck to all downloaders out there, and happy printing.
