Tired of the loud fan in the Meanwell LRS-350 power supply? This custom-designed top cover enables you to replace the original fan with a quieter slim Noctua fan for improved noise reduction and better airflow.

• Easy Installation: Simply remove the original fan by disconnecting the white plastic connector from the board, exposing two pins for power. The Noctua 4-pin connector can then be mounted directly onto these pins (refer to a PC fan pinout for GND and 12V positions—typically black and yellow wires).
• Secure Fit: The plastic tabs on this cover have slightly undersized holes to allow the self-tapping screws to grip securely, ensuring the fan stays in place.

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the Lid: Unscrew the four screws securing the top lid of the LRS-350 power supply. The existing fan is attached to this lid.
2. Detach the Original Fan: Unplug the original loud fan from the board by pulling up on the white plastic connector to expose two pins for power.
3. Attach the Noctua Fan to the New Cover: Use the four self-tapping screws included with the Noctua fan to mount it onto the printed cover, aligning the fan with the vent cutout.
4. Connect the Fan: Attach the Noctua fan’s 4-pin connector to the two power pins on the board (black to GND, yellow to 12V). Refer to a PC fan pinout to confirm the orientation.
5. Secure the New Cover: Place the replacement cover with the Noctua fan attached over the LRS-350 and fasten it with self-tapping screws. The undersized holes in the tabs ensure a snug fit.
