Christmas Light Bulb Keychain and Ornament

I thought it would be cool to make a model of the standard Christmas string light bulb. I modeled one at 200% which is perfect for keychains, and one at 400% to use as an ornament. Simply throw a color change in for the bulb part and this easily prints on a single color printer!

Print the 200% scale model at 50% to make cute little earrings! (Print at least two at a time though so the tips don't melt)

I also added a version that prints in two pieces and can be assembled afterwards with glue. If you are using this method, the top part easily prints in vase mode with .6mm perimeters.

Printing:

In my experience, this needs a brim for proper bed adhesion (just the bottom if printing separately)

Print with whatever infill you like, and the top could even be done with 0% if you wanted it lighter to hang on the tree.

If possible, increase minimum layer time. Printing the tip too fast results in an ugly one.

Bonus points to print the top in a translucent filament with 1 or 2 walls and 0% infill, silk filament for a cool shiny look, or even glow in the dark!
