Various accessories that can be used individually or in combination.  The most significant change available, compared to using the stock components, is to switch to the HP-tracking monster standee bases, and monster card trays – this both frees up both table space and removes the rather fiddly back-and-forth activity of tracking enemy damage and conditions on the monster envelope, referencing the standee number.

The biggest changes to the tabletop component interactions are:

  • Monster card trays: for the stat cards and ability cards
  • HP-Tracking Monster Standee Bases: these replace the white and yellow plastic bases that come with the game, and there are 2 versions:
    • For standard enemies: 1-digit or 2-digit (max) tracking
      • There's an SVG with 16 of these, to match the original count in the box, and another with 24 that fills the 12"x12" sheet
    • For elites and bosses: scalable to any number of digits, but requires more wood and cutting, and gluing
    • Note that while the enemy standees are intentionally component-limited, the rules state that the bases are not meant to be component-limited
  • H clips: these are used both to clip the standees into their bases, and to clip conditions onto the standee or into the base.

Some optional additions are:

  • Initiative tower, in two sizes:
    • for the Frosthaven-sized 13mm x 51mm initiative tokens
    • for the larger 17mm x 54mm tokens used in some printings of Jaws of the Lion
    • this file is a remix of a Thingiverse model by kap42
  • Card trays: For the blessings, monster curses, and player curses
  • Player condition toggle boards: for some scenarios, I found these helpful to manage conditions that keep popping on and off.  For Gloomhaven or Jaws of the Lion, a single board can cover the range of all possible conditions on a character – for Frosthaven, you'd need 2 boards.
    • JOTL doesn't have invisibility, so there's a separate version of the board that just has 7 slots.
  • (JOTL-specific) Hatchet token: this is an alternative to the small, circular Hatchet character tokens for marking enemies

And the straight-up 1:1 replacements for stock components are:

  • Player XP/HP tracker dials: dials come with the game, but are quite large, so these help save some table space.  They require 6mm diameter magnets.

Note that some photos are currently of earlier versions of some models – I've been so busy cutting these for other people, I still have an out-of-date set for myself!

CHANGELOG:

  • 2024-12-18: revised Standee files to reduce triple-stacked circles to singles, rearranged layout of monster stat holder components and added missing components for 5th set (for monster AMD)
  • 2025-01-05: added 7-count condition toggle board for JOTL, dropped duplicated file for Boss/Elite standee bases
  • 2025-01-17: centered numbers for Boss/Elite standee bases, simplified “1” (one) character to a line

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

The initiative tower was modified to add two more rows, for “0” and “9”, and there's a second version specific to the larger-size initiative tokens used in some JOTL printings.  Other models are new.
