Nerf Rival Takedown Lever Action Mod

This build was inspired by the flip-cocking shotgun the terminator uses in Terminator 2:

This mod is fully reversible and the blaster can be reverted back to pump-action.

The only modification you need to make to the blaster is drilling out the hole for the M3x70 bolt to be able to run all the way through the priming sled. Reach out if you would like a more comprehensive set of assembly instructions. A complete blaster requires all seven of the attached parts to be printed. I print the lever with 20% infill and 6-8 outer walls. These outer walls keep the lever strong.

Hardware List

• 1x M3x70 socket bolt
• 2x M3x30 socket bolt
• 3x M3x20 socket bolt
• 2x M3x14 flathead socket bolt
• 2x M3 countersunk washer
• 8x M3 locknut
• 1x M5x60 socket bolt
• 1x M5 locknut
• 2x 3/16" outer diameter by 5/16" long nylon bushing

Tools

• Drill and 3mm bit
• 3 and 5 mm Allen keys
• Wrenches for nuts
• Needle file (for small adjustments)

Some of these parts may be difficult to find at the hardware store, especially the M3x70 bolt and nylon bushings. For my build I purchased a bulk quantity from McMaster-Carr. I have a lot of hardware, so message me if you are interested in purchasing a hardware kit.
