Ornament Star (Flat Print)

With a 0.6 nozzle, this star prints up in 9 minutes and only 4g of filament.

Final assembled star is around 8cm in size.

No layer lines! 

• This star prints flat to the surface. Keep the nice finish of the bottom of the print to the outside and it looks perfect.
• After printing, fold the star on the lines until you get the shape. 
• The shape holds surprisingly well on its on for decoration purposes, but you can add some glue if you want to secure it.

Printing instructions:

• If you want it larger, scale only X and Y.  Keep Z at 100% so the folds are still thin enough to bend.
• Use concentric bottom fill pattern for an even better finish and easier to fold.
• I printed with PLA with a 0.6 nozzle with 0.28 layer height but other configurations with 0.4 nozzle should work just as well.
