Summary
This is a 1:24 sclae model of car lifter in a kit card style. They also fit the 1:24 models I have published. Can also be used for 1:18 scale models.
After printing, the model can be assembled with the help of integrated connectors.

Key features

  • height-adjustable arms
  • sturdy design (also for heavier vehicles - please use PETG)
  • attachable motor and oil canister
  • very realistic model

Versions
The Kit Card is available in a 3MF file for a one-color print.
There is a 3MF-file with predefined colors intended for users of AMS or MMU.

Print
Print with 0.2 layer hight or lower.
No supports are needed.
Use 3 perimeters and 20% infill.
I used PETG and it is strong enough to carry even heavier cars (see pictures).

Post processing
The small struts can be removed really quickly and cleanly using a side cutter.

Assembly - Please pay attention to the exact assembly sequence!
1) at absolutely first insert the arm into the side stand
2) Insert now the locking mechanism into the side stand
3) Now attach the motor and canister if you want
4) Now press the side stand into the base - a tight press fit is required here.

If a part should be loose, superglue can be used.

Dimensions at 100% scale (1:24)
The fully assembled model has the following dimensions
Height: 144mm
Depth: 109.3mm
Width: 191.4mm

The complete kit card has the following dimensions when printed
Height: 24mm
Depth: 190mm
Width: 157.4mm

Scaling up to 1:18 (1,33 or 133% scale) or down should work, but keep the tolerances in mind.

Other models
I will also try to publish other car related models. Stay tuned!

I hope you had as much fun printing and assembling it as I did :-)

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

  • components scaled larger
  • each component changed so that the tolerances fit
  • each component technically modified / improved
  • framed in kit card style
  • painted for AMS / MMU
