A hook for hanging pictures. It uses adhesive command strips to stick to walls. I used the large size (1.9cm x 9.7cm), but the hook can be customised to use other size strips, or multiple strips.

I made this as I wanted to hang a picture on a section of wall that I knew had wires/pipes but I wasn't sure where. So nails were not an option. Due to the shape of the frame, I couldn't use the velcro command strips.

For better hook strength, I printed the hook on one of its long edges with supports enabled. The hook will be in this orientation when the STL is opened. If staying stuck to the bed during printing is an issue, printing it on its back is an option. I have not needed do to this

For my print I used PETG. Printed on a mk4s with the 0.25mm structural profile. I enabled supports everywhere

I have included the cad model (fusion360) so that the hook can be customised in any way you'd like. Parameters are commented to give an idea of what they are. I have messed around with different sizes, but haven't pushed values to extremes
