My fav filament stand! I loved how this one is fully printable and works great! I don't need dowels or anything else, just print and go. JaNeelssKlar crushed it!
But I really wanted to make like 6 of these, and running each side panel one at a time was tedious.

So I modeled it to be printed vertically.  It's highly imperfect, it's obvious I freehanded it, and some angles exceed 45 degrees. but It still prints good (but not great) on my P1S. You can see in the pics, the angles are just starting to be a bit much. It can be cleaned up with better settings or just remodeling the angles a couple degrees.. but it's good enough for me.

Functionality and printability are there, and that's all I needed. Height is no problem, at least not on my P1S. I keep them very close together and while it may not be needed, use a big brim around them all as well.

Also, the original author had built in supports for the top stacker so it could be printed sideways.. on my printer, they print standing up no problem, eliminating the need for the supports. For me, the underside arch is gradual enough to print no issue. Same for the side panels, no tweaks, no mods, just prints great.

My current settings for printing these have been:

0.32 Layer Height

3 Walls

3 Top and Bottom Solid Layers

15% Adaptive Cubic Sparse Infill

Outer Brim: 20mm  (may not be needed on a textured bed, but this many big items printing tall.. it's just a bit of insurance)

At these settings they are really solid.  I did my first test at 4 walls and 20% infill and it felt over-built, so I dropped to 3 and 15, and it feels like I didn't even turn it down, they feel amazingly solid. I bet it could go quite a bit lower and still get something solid (at least for the sides). Probably still want 3+ walls for rails the filament sits on, the pegs that click in get weak at lower settings.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Remodeled the side panels to be printed Vertically, it's rough, but it gets the job done.
Swapped the horizontal support bar to an angled one.
Remodeled the top to eliminate any unsupported areas.

Added in a few diamond cuts just to reduce filament, angles are a bit steep but I was able to print it without any special settings.

Removed built in supports for sides.
Removed built in supports on top stacker.
