Tired of spending hours tediously cleaning your harvested seeds? This 3D printable seed separator offers a quick and easy solution that saves time and money using ordinary house hold equipment - a vacuum cleaner. 

By harnessing the power  vacuum suction, this not-so-innovative tool effortlessly separates seeds from husks, shells, and other debris.

I got inspired on making my own after seaching online for seed separators. Most of them are either expensive to purchase, or made out of wood. In my opinion, it is easier to print one within a few hours.

How It Works:

  1. Download and print the model: The 3MF files contains the values I used for my Prusa Mk3s+
  2. Attach the lid: I used plexiglass, but you can also print the lid if you do not have this laying around
  3. Glue the body and lid: I used a hot glue gun to glue the body and lid within a few minutes
  4. Install adapters: Press fit the adapters (no glue needed here) 
  5. Attach to Your Vacuum: Connect the separator to your vacuum cleaner using the included adapter.
  6. Add Your Seeds: Place your harvested seeds into the separator's hopper.
  7. Turn on the Vacuum: The vacuum creates a powerful draft that separates the seeds from the debris.
  8. Collect Clean Seeds: The clean seeds are collected in a designated compartment.
