Assembly & Rigging Tutorial Video:

Features:

  • Misumi SAR 200-300 Series full Compatibility: Designed for  integration with Misumi's SAR slide series, including dual-stage (SAR 210-250) and three-stage (SAR 310-350) models.
  • Durable Construction: Built for reliability and longevity in competitive robotics environments. This model can take a beating + withstand the weight of a 20kg robot being lifted by x2 435 motors.

đź›  Required Hardware:
• M3 locknuts (4mm height)
• 8mm countersunk M3 machine screws,
• 40mm countersunk M3 machine screw,
• v-groove bearings (3x12x4 mm).
• Optional: m3 sleeve nut https://www.rvspaleis.nl/moeren/hulsmoeren/verzonken-binnenzeskant/9062-2-3_1

Installation Tips:

For stacking multiple slides, replace the M3 locknut with a sleeve nut. Drill a 4.5mm hole in the Misumi slide, insert the sleeve nut, and secure using an 8mm screw with Loctite to ensure stability.

I also have an additional model for rigging up these slides with belt, if you want a more reliable assembly: https://www.printables.com/model/1242612-linear-slide-insert-for-misumi-sar-slides-belt-dri

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

The whole system can now be assembled with:

  • Change Log:
Added step file with string example
    - Added genera mounting points for gobilda pattern channel
    - made the whole system smaller
    - Tightened tolerances on misumi slides for stronger attachment to misiumi slides (needs to be “torqued” on as it’s quite snug)
    - added in holes for coutnersunk screws
    - Added in double hole for a sleeved nut insert when rigging multiple stages together  https://www.rvspaleis.nl/moeren/hulsmoeren/verzonken-binnenzeskant/9062-2-3_1 This keeps the whole system nice and compact.
    - extended the thickness of the system for more rigitidy. The previous v-groove bearings were snapping my mounts in PLA.
    - changed all mounting holes for M3 screws rather than M4
    - added in hex mounts for a locknut rather than self-tapping M4 screws.
    - Added in throughhole for spring mounting at the end of the retraction string
