I wanted to be able to easily swap out the hot end on my Ender3 Printers so that I could rebuild them off of the printer. I converted the heating element to use a mini tamiya connector and then used a jst xh extension for the thermistor. This bracket holds both connectors snugly and mounts to the extrusion using a single screw. Below are the parts that I purchased from Amazon:

JST XH extension:

For the mini Tamiya connector that goes to the control board, I used some 18 awg wire I had laying around and crimped and soldered the terminals to it. The other end of the wires just go into the screw terminals on the board. I assembled the connector before putting it into the bracket. On the heating element end, I also crimped and soldered the terminals to it and then assembled the connector.
For the JST connection, the connector that goes into the controller board has to be de-pinned for the other end of the connector to fit into the bracket. I found that a paperclip worked well for this.
Once the connectors were inserted into the bracket, I fed the wires through some braided wire loom and put zip ties at both ends. The JST extension I used was much longer than I needed, so I left the excess inside of the loom to keep it out of the way.
Getting this installed is a little bit of work initially, but if you want to change out the hot end, you would have to do this anyway and it would make it much easier to swap out the hot end in the future.
I printed this in PLA with the side that the connectors come out of facing into the bed. I did use supports and printed with 4 walls for some extra strength.
I also have my printers set up so that the hot end fan wiring is now in a separate loom than the rest of the hot end. This combined with having connectors located outside of the control board box makes swapping out the entire hot end a quick process.
