Hello everyone, I've prepared for you this model of the Czechoslovak heavy-duty truck
Tatra T-138/T-148 S1 in 1/18 scale with working steering, suspension, dump bed, doors and bonnet.

The Tatra 138 and 148 are legendary Czechoslovak trucks that, thanks to their robust construction and unique central tube chassis, have become popular in the sport of truck trial. Produced in Kopřivnice during the 1960s and 70s, these models are known for their durability, stability, and ability to handle extremely rough terrain, making them ideal for the challenges of truck trial racing.

In truck trial, Tatras are mainly used for their unique swing half-axle system, which provides a high degree of wheel mobility. This allows them to easily overcome deep ruts, uneven ground, and steep slopes—essential for success in this sport. Although their engines are not the most powerful, they deliver ample strength and reliable performance, perfect for the slow, technical navigation of obstacles.

Truck trial is an adrenaline-filled motorsport where specially modified trucks and off-road haulers tackle extreme natural obstacles. Races take place on rough terrain where drivers must handle steep slopes, muddy stretches, rocky barriers, and deep water crossings. The goal is not speed but technical precision and the ability to navigate the course with as few errors as possible. Both drivers and co-drivers must skillfully control their vehicles and adapt to challenging conditions, making this sport both demanding and exciting to watch.

I know, that some parts of the model can be problematic, so please be patient, and do not hesitate to contact me in case of any issues.

And always remember: Print, Dry fit, File, Dry fit again, Glue...

If you like the model, thank you for your support!

Edit: Sorry, I know the tires are facing wrong direction.
