I drilled 5 holes in the back of the table to feed the teflon tubes from underneath and up to the MMU3. I spliced 2 and 2 tubes to get them long enough (several splicers can be found online).
To avoid the filament unspooling too much and possibly derail, I made 2 “brakes” of 1.5mm stainless welding wire. Two to be able to compensate for various spool widths. When the filament spool is in place, make sure that both “brakes” are inside the spool rims or they won't do their job… These “brakes” may not be nessesary or may function better with other designs, working on that…
Any material and settings will do but probably wise to avoid PLA due to long time stability.
Supports needed on build plate only.
