Problem Statement
You will create a telescoping fidget device by utilizing sketch offsets and drafted extrusions/cuts.
You and your partner will be “accountabilibuddies”. This means you will provide feedback on initial designs and plans, as well as help each other solve problems and troubleshoot errors as they happen. You are NOT REQUIRED to have identical designs, but it will certainly make the process easier.

Steps to make:

  1. Import image in SolidWorks.
  2. Create an outline of imported image on your sketch plane.
  3. Make a reverse offset for your outline and repeat until you reach the center.
  4. Apply “Boss-Extrude” on outermost outline for 1 unit and 25deg (0.5 units and 15deg for V1).
  5. Apply “Extrudet-Cut” on second outermost outline with surface-cut on “Boss-Extrude” from step 4 and set it to 25deg (15deg for V1).
  6. Apply “Boss-Extrude” on third outermost outline with extrude-surface on first layer made in steps 4, 5.
  7. Repeat step 6 util your layers reach center of object.
  8. Mirror each layer against sketch plane.

Changes: Changed extrude and cut angles to 25 (was 15 before) and increased extrude length to 1 unit (was 0.5).
