A Maker coin is a quick, creative, and easy way to test and create a palette of your 3D Printer Filaments. It was created by Angus Deveson, the face of the Maker's Muse YouTube channel. (Source 1: Maker's Muse, Source 2: 3D Make)
The goal of this project is to create a Maker coin with my own, individual, creative design. The maker coin should fit within a 6cm x 6cm x 1.25cm volume.
I created my maker coin based on my passion for music. Having studied music and being a vocalist for over a decade, I felt that creating a music-related maker coin would be really cool! Specifically, writing the sheet music of a song I like.
My original idea was to draw the song Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, because that's an iconic song, however the song is not conveniently placed on the staff. However, I found that Ariana Grande's Song No Tears Left To Cry fit perfectly on the staff. Since it fit well, and I always looked up to big pop singers like Ariana Grande, I felt like this song was a great option.
