Raptor Charging Handle

Since the only raptor-like charging handle that had a working mechanism i could find were paid models i decided to model this up . 

It might not be compatible with your gearbox model , mine has a 3 mm notch on the top of it . I might make more versions for different widths if you ask for it in the comments.

Needed hardware is as follows: 

• 3 M3x8 screws
• 3 M3 nuts
• 1 stiff spring cut in half or 2 pen springs

I used the old spring from the charging handle that i had . It is pretty stiff and too long for this design so i cut it in half and used it for both sides. I am pretty sure it also works with pen springs , you will need 2 since they are weaker but you might still need to shorten them though.

Print tips:

I recommend to use a brim for the rod , the mouse-ear type if possible because it makes print post-processing way easier.

Don't forget to add supports for the nut holes.

If you know your printer struggles with last layer quality i recommend ironing the top-most layer of the rod for good fitment with the top part.
