My daughter and her friend are dressing up as teen girl versions of Han Solo and Chewbacca (more of the idea of the characters than the actual characters). A few days before Halloween she says, "Oh yeah my friend needs Chewbacca's belt thing and I told her you could make it."
After first telling her, "there wasn't enough time", then thinking it through, I modeled these up. They're by no means screen accurate and would be way too small for an adult Chewbacca, but I think I think it gets the point across. I think this would work great for a kid or dog costume or even an accessory for an adult. For size reference they were hot glued onto a 1-1/4" (31.75 mm) wide belt.
I printed them in silver silk PLA, 0.2mm layer height, and 10% infill. They probably would have worked as is if you are in a real crunch, but I painted the center sections with brown acrylic.
There are 2 sizes. Print as many of both as you need and alternate them when attaching to the belt.
