Simple arming sword with a telescoping, replaceable blade. The blade pieces can be replaced as the top of the pommel screws off.

Print Instructions:

Hilt

-Print at 0.20 mm layer height with a 0.4 mm nozzle

-Print with 2 or 3 walls

-15% infill

-PLA

-No supports are needed but if your printer has trouble with threads, I would suggest putting organic supports on the threads of the pommel cap.

Blade files:

-Print at 0.20 mm layer height with a 0.4 mm nozzle

-Print in vase mode with extrusion width equal to twice your nozzle size (0.8 mm for a 0.4 mm nozzle). This only applies to the blades.

-PLA works for this, but I prefer PETG or PLA+ because my kids like to swing them around and the extra flexibility prevents in from breaking as quickly.

The blades should slide inside each other, and then into the top of the hilt. The screw top of the hilt is a little tight at first but there should be no gap in the pommel.

If you want to print the grip in a different color than the cross guard, you just need to put in a filament change at the top of the guard, and the top of the grip.

You can try to print all of the blades together concentrically, but I have not done this as I feel the blades are stronger in vase mode.

Please let me know if you have any problems with the files.

Please do not sell these as I sell my models.

Thank you for understanding and I hope you enjoy the print.
