This is a cutaway model of a turbojet engine inspired by the first ones ever made!
It features 9 can-type combustion chambers with 6 of them shown here, where 4 are full, closed ones and 2 cut in half for better visualization.
This is a great educational tool for teaching and learning about the basic principles of a jet engine.
The model includes 2 print-in-place bearings for easy rotation! They have 0.36mm wall tolerance and should be fine to print in any printer
If tolerances are right, the only parts which need glue should be the engine housing and combustion chambers, though, glue is recommended for a sturdy build.
The only parts that need support are both Engine Housing Fronts and the Engine Housing Lip, all of the other files print fine without them
This is my first ever model! Feel free to give suggestions, tips and criticism. Thanks to everyone who downloads and rates my model!
