This can help students transition from using objects to help them with addition (or subtraction). I had a wonderful teacher who switched me to this method when I was struggling with math. She had large version on the wall, and I thought have a smaller version for students to have in front of them might be nice. Then hopefully they can memorize it and no longer need these either!
You could just print it in one color and then paint (or use permanent maker), if you are feeling creative. Or if you have an MMU, you can assign them a different color during printing. I made this small so they could fit in say a pencil box or something, but they could be scaled bigger if desired.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
