Framework 16 Bottom Mesh Spacer with Expansion Card Storage (no dGPU)

If you're sitting with the laptop on a comfy frizzy blanket you might be worried that it will inhale some of the fibers or that its air intake gets blocked. Likewise, when you have the laptop directly on your lap, you might feel your legs getting sweaty after some time of heavy-duty work.

This spacer should prevent both of those issues from occurring while also safely carrying one expansion card in each half!

The halves fit together perfectly and are snug (but not too snug) on the shell of the laptop. The screen won't be hindered in any configuration. Optional 6x3mm (size is easily configurable via OnShape variables) magnets can be used to ensure the sides won't come apart. Does not fit if you have a dGPU.

I recommend printing in PETG with at least three perimeters and 0.2mm layer height. It doesn't need any supports. The halves should each be printed standing up with the side without any holes down on the print plate.
