DOPE card Waveshare NFC for Strelok Pro

7/11/2024 - Added thinner front, for those that intend to put clear plastic over

After discussion with creator of Strelok ballistic software, Mr Igor Borisov.

Strelok Pro is adding a feature to transfer “Target List” over to an e-paper display, specifically the Waveshare 2.7" NFC TAG, he says more sizes might come in future updates along with the possibility to transfer reticles over.

This works the same way as the E-DOPE card made by DRS.

On to the model themselves. 

There are three version of the backplate

1. For left handed shooters (backv2_mountL.stl)
2. For right handed shooters (backv2_mountR.stl)
3. And with no mounting, these are two files (backv2_mount, backv2_plain) DOPE card would be attached with velcro, for quick and easy removal.

Two version of the front

1. Countersunk screws
2. Allenkey screws. (hexagon socket head)

And only one bracket that will work both for Left handed and right handed shooters.

I modeled this to fit and be used with scope rings designed by Storm https://www.printables.com/model/601654-dope-card-holder shown in slicer screenshot.

He has 1", 30mm and 34mm scope rings available for download in his model.

Build itself.

I printed these in PLA for testing, but do reccomend printing these in PETG or other materials that could fair well in the outdoors.

Printed on Ender v3 SE, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height.

Only part that requires supports would be the bracket, specifically shown in picture.

All objects are in correct orientation.

Depending on the tolerance of your printer, running with a drill through the holes (correct sized drill ofcourse) might be needed.

4x M3x8 bolts / 4 M3 nuts - For putting the front and back together.
