Creality K1 and K1 Max Chain Riser V2

MAJOR UPDATE V2 - 1/23/25

• Made overall dimensions smaller
• Added notch for stability with built in support, options for booty and stock gantry
• Added more sizes (8, 10, 12, 14mm)
• Changed required bolt size to 8mm for all sizes

BOM:

• One 8mm M3 screw socket or button head
• One M3 heat press insert

Print using a 0.16mm layer height! 

The built in support has a 0.16mm distance from the model. It should only need a slight pry with a flat edge to remove it.

Print using a high temp material!

My settings were ABS, 3 walls, 4 top and bottom, 15% infill.

I use the 12mm version on my K1 with the lid riser listed in the remix, and 10mm version on K1 Max for cable chain drag issue fix. 

Step file included if you need to change a dimension.

V1 (outdated)

K1 version - raises chain by 12mm, designed for use with @RAPHLEO's lid riser model. Their chain riser model was tested with the K1C, which has an additional chain rising spacer, absent on the original K1.

K1 Max version - raises chain by 11mm, fixing the cable chain drag issue while still allowing room under the left side of the frame for no rubbing. I still recommend @Zuff's Creality K1 Max chain support to give additional stability.

My chain riser is made from scratch but was created due to this model not working for my setup.
