The headlight on my Brompton is not bright enough if I drive in the dark on non-illuminated bike paths. So I created this adjustable mount for my flashlight, which has a diameter of 27 mm. I wanted the beam of the light to be adjustable and I wanted it to fit on the Quadlock mount on the Brompton.

The model for the Quadlock receiver part is from here.
I trimmed it down in Fusion to the necessary portion and built the rest from there.
I have added exports in Fusion 360 and STEP format.
I have used the following additional hardware for assembly:

  • 3 M5 hex nuts (hinge, upper and lower clamp)
  • 1 screw M5x30 hex button head (hinge)
  • 1 M5x12 knurled screw (upper clamp)
  • 1 M5x30 hex head screw (lower clamp)
  • 1 printed M5 nut holder from here (lower clamp)

I printed the parts from PETG, as I have had good experience with this Quadlock part when printed from PETG, which I have been using for some time for my phone as well. The fit on the metal Quadlock mounts on my two bikes is very tight and has never failed so far.
I have added a screenshot of the arrangement of the parts on the print plate and of the needed supports. I printed the parts with 0.15 mm layer height (max. detail on the serrated facing parts) and 7 perimeters. The Quadlock coupler part should consist only of perimeters with no infill.
