Slim and modular backplate for uConsole. Plastic material provides much needed boost to the Wi-Fi signal and would allow to hide extra radio components such as the 4G antennae inside the case. The backplate is modular so the parts can be printed on 3D printer buildplate for much nicer finish. Battery and Raspberry Pi covers are attached using M3 nuts so the parts can be mixed and matched if other designs are preferred.

The grilled Raspberry Pi cover allows sufficient passive cooling - make sure to print it using PETG as the chip temperatures get too hot for PLA. The grill is placed as close to the metallic heatsinks as possible to prevent dust particles coming in.

Battery and Raspberry Pi bases require 4x M3 hex nuts each to be placed into the slots during the print. Then the covers are attached by 4x M3 screws. The bases are slotted into the main base plate and fixed by melting the connectors from the inside using soldering iron.
