Silicon Zip Lock Replacement Rail

The closure for my reusable silicone freezer bags broke while the bags are still intact.

I hope this replacement part fits many 1 liter imported silicone freezer bags. The total length of the upper part of the bag is 23 cm with a 20 cm opening. I got mine from Pearl: https://www.pearl.de/a-NX8998-3013.shtml?query=silikon+gefrierbeutel but Amazon and others carry very similar models. Do a test with your type.

This model fits „Mini“ (18cm) print-beds diagonally.

Prints in FDM without supports but uses bridging. While slicing make sure the bridging is perpendicular to the part.

I used PETG and it’s about as airtight/watertight as the original closure. Did well in my first tries in the freezer.

Because of the shape of the bag, the printed part has no contact to the food inside. Given a proper seal. However avoid getting food on it while filling and closing the bags. With the bridging there is no way you can properly clean this model. So use at your own discretion.

And don’t cook, bake or microwave a printed part.
