Print your own beautiful Modern Acorn Lampe project!
This project utilizes mostly 3D-printed parts and is ideal for a simple, modern living room.
The lamp is designed to snap together without any hardware, except for a light socket and cord.
For the best visual effect, I recommend using lighter colors such as gray, white, or light brown filament. Dark colors will not produce the same lighting effect as shown in the pictures.
This is the filament I used for the Project.
The design has needs supports.
A printer with a build plate of 250x210x200mm or larger.
All parts can be printed without the need for a MMU or AMS.
All parts can be printed in PLA or PETG.

Print the “Small Test Print” to ensure the fitment is correct. If you are experienced with 3D printing, you may notice that the print seems more challenging than necessary. This is due to the small overhang perimeter, which I designed to ensure that the print bed texture appears uniformly on the entire lamp shade arm when the two parts are assembled.
I used the HEMMA IKEA light socket and cord, but the following Amazon light socket and cord should work as well:
I recommend the following light bulb because it does not produce much heat and allows full control over the lighting effects:
