The clip has identical dimensions to the original and the same function. The only thing that i could not replicate is the “snapping at angles" feel that you get at some stages of deployment. I think its done with a non-circular profile on the peg but i'm not sure, as both my original clips broke a long time ago. The model was created with careful measuraments of the corpses of aforementioned clips.
PRINT IN PETG!
Basically no car accessory should be printed in PLA. ABS/ASA and other high-temp filaments shoud do the trick but the model relies on the ever so slight undersizing of the peg hole to maintain friction with the visor, so keep that in mind.
The STEP file is also provided in case you want to do some alterations. I politelly ask you to ignore my atrocious modeling habits. I only tested with the Fiat Palio Fire 2014, but i'm pretty confident older Palio and Siena models use the same part as far back as the Palio 1998 if i'm not mistaken.
Print on its side and with supports ON. Preferably use support painting to prevent it on the screwhole.
Sorry/not sorry for the horrible cover art. I want a spoiler for my Palio this cristmas.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
