This model consists of components that can be used to mount a lightbar on the ROP of a John Deere 1025R  sub compact tractor.    The design was to accomodate a lightbar wider than the straight portion of the ROP top  bar via use of extensions beyond the edge of the clamp body.

Mounting hardware consist of M5 cap head screws and nuts (~30-40mm).  The M5 nuts fit into recesses printed in the mount bodies.  Be careful to not overtighten, there will be a gap between the sections. Do not try to close the gap, tighten just enough to prevent easy movement.

To prepare for assembly, I inserted the nuts and secured them with short screws to hold them in position.  I then applied a bit of CA glue to the nuts to hold them in position.  Once the glue cured, the screws were removed.   Doing this made assembly on site easier as it removed the potential for losing screws during assembly.

The lightbar I used required M6 screws for attachment.  Holes in the mount arms accomodate 6mm screws.

I printed in ASA to provide UV and environmental resistance.

4/7/2025 NOTE:   After experiencing a broken mount, I replaced all files with new versions, heavier and with gussett reinforcement.

I recommend a high wall count & layer count, i.e. total skin thickness > 3.5mm, to improve strength.

Fusion 360 and .STEP source files are included.
