I had some really old rolls of ABS from MakerGeeks that were off-runs. They print great, but over time, the print layers tend to delaminate. Instead of worrying about that, I made this remix to use 5/16-inch bolts for the bearing housing and legs. Sorry to my metric friends, but in the USA, metric hardware is expensive and there's a small selection in our hardware stores. The STEP file is included if anyone wants to remix it for metric. A 5/16-inch bolt is very close to 8mm, so a remix might not be necessary, but it should be tested. One advantage of this remix is that the overall width is slightly smaller since the printed nut is no longer used.
2x 2-inch or longer 5/16-inch fully threaded bolts (The holes are tight and should cut their own threads)
1x 5-inch 5/16-inch bolt
1x 5/16-inch nut (I used lock nuts, but a regular nut should also work)
3x 5/16-inch x 1 ¼-inch fender washers
For reference, I use this in a dry box, specifically a Master Paws Pet Food Container - 10 lb, which has an airtight seal. I purchased it from Menards, but I have another brand, and it also fits
