fischertechnik offers this nice set of a construction site robot (set no. 567690). The set includes a number of stickers that can be put on during the build. While the stickers are good looking, they prevent later disassembly of the model.
These printable skirts are compatible to the fischertechnik building blocks and can be slid on the finished model. They can easily be removed again to disassemble the model later on.
When printed from PLA with a well tuned printer, the parts should fit perfectly. When printing from other materials, factor in the different shrinking factor of the filament you are using.
All stl files are oriented the way they should be printed. bb-skirts-back needs a bit of support on the overhang. bb-skirts-front can easily be printed in two colors to match the rest of the model better.
To put on the front skirt (bb-skirts-front) remove the arm first (undo step 61 in the manual), put on the skirt, and then put the arm back again.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
