The Tree Support Model is designed to provide essential stability for young trees, ensuring their proper growth in areas with high wind exposure. My place is known for its variable and sometimes intense winds, particularly during storm seasons, where gusts can exceed 50 km/h. Young trees, with their developing root systems, are particularly vulnerable to strong winds, which can cause them to tilt, uproot, or suffer structural damage.

This model incorporates support rods strategically positioned around the tree to reduce movement and strain on the root system, allowing the tree to establish strong and stable growth. The rods are anchored securely in the ground and attached to the tree with adjustable straps that prevent excessive swaying while still allowing for natural growth. By stabilising the tree during windy conditions, the support model ensures that the young trees remain upright and develop a healthy, straight trunk.

Make sure to print in PETG, ABS or any other high temperature tolerating filament.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

The main difference in this model compare to the original one is that I have added a round attachment, lock ring thread and is a bit shorter as well as opposed to a rectangular one and twisted it to be inline with the front clamp.
