Hello,

for those that don't know my ‘insert philosophy’ - I am creating modular inserts that are focused on reducing setup and space on table, filament consumption is not my highest priority, but of course I'm trying to save some material where I can.

Important Notes:

  • My main priority here was to fit all content of the game into base game box + optimize setup & teardown,
  • My prints take a lot of time to print. Why? First of all, to save filament, electricity price is much lower than filament price (at least in my country). Second of all - total weight, if it's to high it can damage the box and our spines :D + weight also influence vertical storage, box can open by itself,
  • Some holders hold cards / components also from expansions, I checked what can be mixed. I also mixed additional modules (like for example new Mystery card types, Hunting Adventure cards), but these can be easily recognized and discarded during the game,
  • some cards holder are not optimal for deck reshuffling, few gameplay seconds could be saved there, but thanks to this design it's much easier to put everything back to the box, so in the end HI don't think it's a drawback
  • Clearence for holder covers is very small - 0.2mm horizontal. In some of my previous inserts it was 0.4mm horizontal and 0.2mm vertical,
  • You can put map on the top of Setup_Holder if you don't have playmat,
  • Volcano Dice Tower is not supported, there is a tiny bit space left so maybe it will fit unfolded without adding a lid lift.

Supports:

  • vertical storage,
  • sleeves 70 micron,
  • Treasure Chest expansion,
  • Mystery Tales expansion,
  • Sailor & Gamer pack,
  • Companion App pack 1-3,
  • Discovery tokens in capsules,
  • Book of Adventures.

This insert features:

  • Cards_Adventure_Holder - holds cards from base game and Treasure Chest expansion (without empty cards). You can take it out and put on the board,
  • Cards_Adventure_Holder_Companion_Pack - holds adventure cards from Companion Pack. You can take it out and put on the board,
  • Cards_Adventure_Holder_Mystery_Tales - holds cards from Mystery Tales expansion. You can take it out and put on the board
  • Cards_Mystery_Holder - holds cards from base game, Teasure Chest and Mystery Tales expansion (without the ones with magnifying glass), if you don't want to play with new card types (from Mystery Tales expansion) - just discard them when you draw them and draw the next card,
  • Cards_Beast_Invention_Equipment_Holder - holds cards from base game and Treasure Chest. Beast cards (they are mixed with Hunting Adventure cards, if you don't want to play with them just discard them when you draw them and draw the next card), invention cards,  starting invention cards (on the side) and equipment cards (on the side),
  • Setup_Holder - holds minis, other cards (from base game and treasure chest expansion), some tiles,
  • Setup_Holder__Book_Inventions_Pawns_Shelf - holds invention cards from Book of Adventures and character pawns,
  • Setup_Holder__Resources_Camp_Shelf - holds resources and camp mini,
  • Setup_Holder__Tiles_Map_Shelf - holds map tiles from base game,
  • Setup_Holder__Mystery_Tales_Holder - holds almost everything (some tiles are stored in setup holder) from Mystery Tales expansion,
  • 3x tokens, markers holder - one for tokens from Mystery Tales, one for tokens from base game, one for helper pawns, dices, markers.

Requirements:

  • about 1180g (depends on your settings, I printed with 15% gyroid infill, 2 walls, 5 top and 3 bottom layers) - that's includes 20 card dividers,
  • at least 232mm x 247mm print bed.

Instructions:

Supports - no supports required.

  • every file ended with xX (for example x16) - print X times (in given example - 16 times),
  • every file ended with xXY - cards, tiles dividers - print how many you like, to conserve filament no top, bottom layer, I also increased walls to 4 to make them a bit more rigid.

What future holds :

  • I think this insert is done and it's pretty good, I don't see anything that I could improve, but who knows what future holds…

Enjoy!
