Some rough (e.g. glow in the dark) and extremely flexible filaments bind up inside of the reverse bowden tube on the Prusa XL's extruder setup, often resulting in under-extrusion and failed prints. The solution for this is to feed directly into the extruder from above, which was a lot easier before I added an enclosure on my printer.
These brackets are friction fit on the front corners of the enclosure door opening and held in place by a dowel or PVC pipe that you can hang spools on.
You will need to cut a length of dowel or pipe approximately 455mm (17-7/8") long. Rather than measuring, it's easiest to just print/attach the brackets and then mark/cut to fit.
I have included 3 sizes that I think are the most useful. If you need something else, please let me know in a comment and I will add it for you.
As with most of my designs, you can find the source here at Onshape.
I'd still like to find a solution that works for when the enclosure is closed, so feel free to follow along or chime in with your own ideas/solutions in this forum post.
