I like things neat and organized. In working with 3d prints, I have accumulated several hobby knives, deburring tools, spare blades, etc. I created this caddy to hold several handles, spare blades and misc. parts. There is also an integrated, removable box to safely deposit your dull blades.
There is a lip on the body and the inverse on the drawer so the drawer won't slide out on accident. It must be slid up, then out, to remove it.
Optional - Accessory box 1 fits in the narrower side channel to add a small bin for cotton swaps or other small parts.
Optional - Accessory box 2 fits in the middle square (shown with white ceramic blades in the picture) and splits it down the middle for additional storage of little parts, etc.
Optional - Accessory box 3 fits in the narrower side channel to add a 2 bins for longer swabs, brushes, etc. It is 70mm tall.
Supports
You'll want to add supports to the drawer top (the dull blade slot).
Add supports to the lip on the used blade drawer.
Assembly
I printed the drawer separate from the drawer front because I wanted the front to blend in with the main body.
To assemble:
To remove the drawer, slide it up and pull out.
