This small sign was created to display emergency phone numbers from 30 major countries around the world.  Use it as an educational display in a global studies classroom, or as a portable travel guide while you explore new places.

The numbers were sourced from the US State Department's travel guide called “911 Abroad”, which you can view here:  https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/students-abroad/pdfs/911_ABROAD.pdf .  If a selected country had more than one emergency number available, the most commonly used one or the one specifically for police was chosen.

The sign was designed to allow you to do 2 color changes for the different sections of the model: background, borders/main text, and header text.  The recommended color scheme is white first, then black, then red, but feel free to pick any 3 colors you want.

When printing this sign, it is recommended that you use a brim to keep your corners from warping.  Depending on the capabilities of your printer, you may need to tweak a couple things to get a successful print.  I've noticed that at normal 100% scale with a 0.4mm nozzle, some letters may get cut off in the slicer due to the curves being too small to print.  If you notice this in your slicer, you can scale up the model's X and Y dimensions to 150% and print just fine.  You can also print at 100% using a 0.25mm nozzle without issues.

  • 10/18/24 Update - Changed Brazil number to 190 per user feedback.  If anyone else spots any errors let me know.  It's very easy for me to update the model if needed.
