Scad is horrible and you are too for making it the only source file format.

Thanks for your design
I try to modify the panel height for my Trident with mgn12 (9.5mm heigth' panels with foam) but I've an error "WARNING: No top level geometry to render"
@CharlesG_817308 Sounds like you're trying to build panel-latch-common.scad. Copy the 8.5mm example to a new file. Change panel height in the new file and build from that file. Make sure you have 'Manifold' backend enabled in settings. You need an openscad dev snapshot for that.
Just perfect. Works really well if choosing the right length model. Used to need 15min to remove and install one panel, it now only takes 30sec !

I'm not very up on scad, but I need to modify the latch to 3mm as I don't use VHB tape. I can't seem to get any of the latch files to open, and I did do the download all. Would it be possible to make and upload a 3mm version, or give me some idea how to get it to open properly in scad so i can tweak it myself?
Thanks!
@MandalaRoseW_1621269 A 3mm version is now uploaded. The scad sources have been updated to fix the filename issue and remove some of the dependencies. I also added a note that an OpenSCAD development version that has the Manifold backend enabled is required.
Great latches , much better than using default panel holders as i will be taking printer apart many times for sure 😁 printed just fine.
These are my favorite latch ever...I tried the original and hated filament hinges, I tried alternates that the ends fold down over the panel, but these? Primo. Good job!
Having tried the original filament hinge and now this PIP model, I really like these. Thanks for the design!
Works quite well! Instructions were perfect for sizing, getting great squish on the panel!

I'm excited to try these out, but I can't edit panel-latch-2020-85mm-voron-logo.scad since it references panel-latch-2020-60mm-voron-logo.scad which references panel-latch.scad which is missing. Can you upload panel-latch.scad? Also, the files download with slightly different names which breaks the file references and makes them a bit harder to use (panel-latch-2020-6.0mm-voron-logo.scad downloads as panel-latch-2020-60mm-voron-logo.scad). I'd suggest either making the files standalone, or providing some brief instructions on all of the files that need to be downloaded to make them editable. Thanks!
@orangetruth_656596 Just seeing this comment. I suggest using the "download all model files" button on printables. Yeah, the dependence hierarchy is a little convoluted. I'm consider improvements and certainly including building instructions is a good idea. panel-latch.scad is there, but printables is sorting it to the bottom. And, oh my! I hadn't realized that printables is renaming the files. Suppose I can omit the decimal from the filenames, but printables shouldn't be doing that without alerting me.. (edited)
@orangetruth_656596 Out of curiosity are you trying to change the countersink depth so you can reuse existing m3x16 screws or something else? If the former, I can share that since I've done that already.
Amazing model. Thank you so much! These should be official Voron latches as the official ones suck.

I tend to agree. Thanks!
Great model! Another planet compared to the standard version. These hold really strong
