Light Basket for Bathroom or Shower in Various Sizes

I created this basket design to store shampoo bottles, soap, and other shower essentials conveniently within reach. Its open design allows for easy access and efficient drainage, ensuring that items stay dry and organized. This versatile basket is perfect for keeping your shower space clutter-free, while maintaining a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic.

This design was made to be printed with PETG, to make the resulting basket durable and strong, but you can also print it with PLA or other materials. For example the bottom of the basket is intentional thick (4 mm), to provide the required stiffness for the grid.

At each corner of the basket is a hole where the optional feet can be locked into place. Adding feet will rise the basket from the surface, what further increases the airflow. You can also use these holes as attachment points to e.g. hang the basket under a platform, or design other parts to attach these baskets anywhere.

How to Print the Feet

You also find model files for the feet for this basket. There are two different kinds of feet. One with the suffix -flex is designed to be printed with a flexible material, like TPU. The other model files with the suffix -petg are designed to be printed with PETG or a similar material.

Dimensions

The filename of each model file encodes the dimensions of the basket. For example:

LR2461-W120-D060.3mf

Here, W120 stands for a with of 120 mm and D060 stands for a depth of 60 mm. All other dimensions are either derived from them or are fixed ones. Have a look at the drawing above for all details.

About the Prints in the Photos

The prints in the photos were printed on a Prusa XL, with a 0.4 mm nozzle, using Fiberlogy Easy PET-G in White and 3DJake TPU A95 for the feet.
