With the grids it is possible to move the game if you run out of table in one direction.
There are three types of grids: main, expansion and player.
The main and the player grid consists of three places for cards. It is possible to connect two grids with a connector. When a second building site is required a expansion grid can be connected using the same connector.
The player grid comes in two editions: one for each player. The player grid has text to indicate which resource card should be placed where.
The grids have indents for easy turning of the resource cards. There are a file named lid for grid. It can be used instead of turning the whole card.
Boxes for the game cards (the base game, era of turmoil, era of gold, era of progress, playercars and roads/settlement/cities) and a box for the odd pieces (token box).
The token box can fit the original dice, strength and trade tokens. Furthermore it can store the connectors for the grids and more (we printed two counters for score keeping (one in each player colour) and two progress tokens and a skill token and there are still room for more).
There is a loose version of the box top (should have around 0.2 tolerance).
V1 of the boxes was test printed for fitting, but not printeed in full because we went with V2.
For a complete game the following should be printed:
Extra:
The printer we used has a tolerance of 0.1. It was printed with a layer hight of 0.2 mm with a 0.4 nozzle. The only thing that needs support are the grids. The other models can be oriented, so that support is not needed.
We remixed Julia Dominiak's box for splendor to fit the above components, it can be found here: https://www.printables.com/model/1042009-box-for-rivals-for-catan
