To avoid being dazzled by the sun reflection in between the 2 front visors or on the side completely. You can extend the panel to protect you against the sun.
This should be printed in ASA for a better UV and thermal resistance. You can fix the assembly by 2 tie wraps on the actual sun visor. You need to adjust properly the parameters in your slicer with that type of material.
