Articulated Skeleton 'Snake' with a Capybara Skull
Version 1.3 - 12 VI 2025

Capybara Skull is followed by 33, 22 or 14 spine segments - depending on version (as on file names)
Snakes are 188mm, 133mm and 92,5mm long

Model with 33 segments is in ARC version that will fit even the smallest printers (70x70mm size)
You can resize it up to make a very big snake (on typical printer you can go up to around 280%)

Version with 14 segments is with two keyring models
Front is with removed back teeth and connected front teeth to the jaw
Back is with last segment changed to one with a hole

UPDATE 29 XI 2024
Version 1.2
Around 3-4x stronger joints
Much more bending movement is now possible - in all directions
It's less stiff now
Joints are in more optimal positions
Some improvements in the shapes, less sharp edges
Added a SHORT version (12 segments instead of 20) and on the base of that I made keyrings models

UPDATE 12 VI 2025
Version 1.3
Improved joints - less wobbly to sides, little better bending angles
Base model changed from 20 segments to 22 with almost the same length
Added model with 33 segments, it's also in ARC version (needs only 70x70mm bed)
Added Teeth-Joiner model for easier printing
Some more improvements to overall look
Removed old models v1.2 and v1.0 (I will reupload if needed)

Printing tips

2-3 walls
No infill needed (use some for better strenght, especially when printing a resized model)
No supports needed

You can resize it up as you like
Resizing down is not recommended but you can try it with smaller nozzle if you want to make earrings for example

Break possible connections between segments after print
With a clean print it will be moving like it should streight from the bed plate

You will need a good bed adhesion to print it without any problems - The best would be to use a glue stick

Most difficult is front teeth part - it's small and it's also supporting a front part of a skull

Brim to the whole model is not recommended (too much work with removing it)
If you need some help with adhesion of front teeth use 'Teeth-Brim' or 'Teeth-Joiner' models

Teeth-Brim will add 2-3 walls around teeth on the first layer, just like regular brim
Teeth-Joiner, when merged with base model, will connect front teeth with the rest of skull. This will be easier to print
Ignore model errors - there is a flat part to help you line up the model with CapySnek
Also click 'NO' if the slicer will want to automaticly resize the model - it's with the right size
