This adapter reduces a 37mm hole threaded for M37-1.5 down to a 32mm hole threaded for M32-1.5.  ABB robot power control cables use a non-standard M37 threaded connector on one end and an industry standard M32 threaded connector on the other in an attempt to prevent user repair.  This adapter allows a standard M32 conduit connector to be attached to both ends of the cable.  However, it's use is not limited to just this application.

It is highly recommended to print this out of a strong material such as nylon to prevent the conduit connector from shearing out.  The example in the photos was printed in NylonX CF nylon.

As always, if you are in need of an adapter between different sizes or thread pitches, feel free to reach out and I am happy to create one.

Print Settings (using CF Nylon):

Nozzle: 0.4mm

Layer Height: 0.12mm

Infill: 15% (threaded portion prints solid, infill only for flat top of part)

Walls: 3

No supports or brim necessary.
