My daughter was delighted when she discoverd the cookie cutters by 3D Trece and I immediately had to start printing. However, we found that the insets didn't fit properly. It seems the contour of the insets was simply downscaled from the outer parts, leading to issues for non-convex shapes.
I redrew the insets and applied an offset to ensure a perfect fit. Since my daughter was only interested in Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, and Cinnamoroll, I did only those designs.
💡 I recommend ironing the surfaces of the insets with PrusaSlicer:
Print Settings ➜ Infill ➜ Enable ironing + All top surfaces.
Thank you, 3D Trece, for your fantastic work!
The author remixed this model.
The original insets didn't fit so I redrew three of them. The outer parts are just a copy from the original for convenience.
